Dear ASPnet School Coordinator / Head of Institution,
Warm greetings from CIY.Club.
CIY.Club is an international youth digital skills education initiative under Scope IT Education, focused on the design and delivery of structured digital education programmes for children and youth aged 7–17. We work with schools and education institutions across Asia and Africa to support UNESCO-aligned digital learning goals.
Our digital education programmes are designed to strengthen foundational and intermediate competencies, with clear pathways toward advanced digital skills development, supporting learners’ readiness for future learning and participation in a digital society.
Programme Scope
The CIY.Club syllabus is age-appropriate, project-based, and aligned with global digital competency frameworks, covering:
- Digital literacy and responsible online behaviour
- Computational thinking and problem-solving
- Coding fundamentals (block-based to introductory text-based)
- Creative digital skills, including 3D design and applied technology concepts
Delivery Model
Programmes are delivered through a coach-assisted online learning model:
- Live online sessions conducted by CIY.Club digital coaches
- Students participate from existing school classrooms or learning spaces
- Local teachers provide on-site academic support
- Continuous mentoring throughout programme delivery
This model enables schools to introduce digital education without requiring full-time specialist instructors or heavy infrastructure investment.
Sustainability (Cost-Recovery)
Due to increasing interest from schools, NGOs, and education institutions across Asia and African regions, CIY.Club operates on a cost-recovery basis, ensuring sustainability while remaining non-commercial in nature.
Purpose of Engagement
We are reaching out to UNESCO ASPnet member schools to explore interest in pilot digital education initiatives that align with UNESCO values of quality education, innovation, and international cooperation.
We would welcome the opportunity to share further details or understand whether your institution may be interested in exploring a UNESCO-ASPnet aligned youth digital education pilot programme.
Kind regards,
Gunnalan Shanmugam | CSR Coordinator
