Dear National Coordinator,
My name is Hiroyasu Tsuboi, and I am in charge of ASPnet at Hyogo Prefectural Maiko High School.
I am also a second-generation survivor of the Hiroshima atomic bombing.
We are writing to ask for your assistance in calling out to the ASPnet schools in your country to participate in an event organized by Japanese ASPnet schools.
The event has been planned to commemorate the Japan Confederation of A- and H-Bomb Sufferers Organizations (Nihon Hidankyo) for being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize this year, and as an occasion to reflect on peace by having participants fold origami cranes.
Please find attached the notice issued by Hyogo Prefectural Maiko High School and Hyogo Prefectural Kitasuma High School for details of the Paper Crane Event.
