Dear ASPnet coordinators
On 6 April, the world celebrates the UN International Day of Sport for Development and Peace, whose theme this year is “Sport: Building Bridges, Breaking Barriers.”
On the same day, we will launch Earth Cup 2026, a global youth initiative inviting schools, sports clubs and communities to take part in a simple Fair Play Peace Circle ritual on sports fields.
We warmly invite ASPnet schools to join by organising a short moment before a match, training session or school sports activity where young people stand in a circle, reflect on fair play and share a commitment to respect, cooperation and peace.
Participants are encouraged to share photos or short videos of their Peace Circle moment to inspire others around the world.

A special announcement:
Our song “Peace Grows in You” will be released on 27 March on YouTube and Spotify. The song has been recorded with young singers and professional musicians , and a sing-along version will also be available. Schools and teams are warmly encouraged to play or perform the song during the Fair Play Peace Circle ritual.
